A sudden feeling of THANKS...

Don't know why I felt this way this morning... I was driving to work, listening to the songs played on my player in the car and there is this sudden feeling of wanting to thank people in my life... then names and faces began to flash across my mind...
- Pastors and leaders who have helped my life to grow
- Friends who witnessed to me despite being ridiculed over and over again
- Brothers and sisters in Christ that came and went
- People who have brought joy, fun and sometimes sadness and hurts
- Mentors who have helped me mature
- not forgetting my family members
- and of course my wife...

Don't we all have many people in our lives that we need to thank? Have we ever say a word of thanks to some of these people? What if they are no longer there when you finally find the time and courage to do it... sigh...

Each day, the chance to ever say thank you is getting slimmer as we all grow older and death is imminent... I hope that I will have the opportunity to say "Thank You" to all the above, one day... some day... I thought to myself, why so selfish, it doesn't cost me anything to say those two words!

I have searched and found this link and this beautiful song. I hope that all whom I have known will be able to hear this song that I now dedicate to all... Thank you!

right-click on it (open in new window) and wait a short moment for the song to load...

New place, new look...

Been very busy with my new job this last week trying my best to re-connect with my friends and customers in the market... In the midst of doing that, I realise one thing which I have stressed continuosly in my blog - MAKE FRIENDS! Spoke to a lot of them last week and everyone was so helpful in making available entries for me back into their organisation, makes me feel kind of emotional too... sob...

Well, one big news is - I have got a new look... will be posting the pic up soon (haha, keep coming back until you see it, hee hee)... thought about it for long, back and forth even until the last minute...; I guess, A guy's got to do what a guy's got to do.. and I DID IT! My wife says, I look 10 years younger now... and so did some of my friends and colleagues, YES!

Another poem for you today...

People say the world is like a staged play
A place where we all play our individual roles
Where we take on different characters on different days
But never to the world, ourselves show
Outward presentation is always the thing
Seldom people look for inner beauty within
You either put on a mask and be where its "happening"
Or you sit and wait alone for your phones to ring
My wish for all of us "actors" and "actresses" today
Is that we'll be true to ourselves and our friends
Go create a place where we can be in our own ways
Ourselves, with real friends towards the end

And in closing... the FRIEND acronym....
- "F" is for the Feeling when I am with you
- "R" is for how Radical you are
- "I" is for your Individuality
- "E" is for your Ever Loving heart
- "N" is I hope our friendship will never "N"
- "D" is cause I'd Die without my Friends!

Valentine's here....

Mmmm, its that time of the year where the guys will be cracking their heads to think what to spend on to make their love happy and special.

So if you are struggling to find a present today, think about making something like a card out of something simple and may not even cost a lot... remember, know your companion and do what is required - BUT DO SOMETHING! Cause even though your girl will love to get diamonds and gold, it is your thoughts that value more than anything...

To all Valentiners...

Love is deeper than the flowers you send
It does not flow through diamonds or gold
It is the meaning within and all its intend
It is more than just another made up show
"L" is for life and living
While "O" is the oath of giving
"V" and "E" is for the Vow of Eternity
Its about giving and not merely receiving
To the guys, go do something no matter how small
To the ladies, go easy on your man today
Its being together that's important
Nothing else should matter at all
So, make "I love you" as your quote for today
Make today, a Happy and Lovely Valentine's Day

CNY is OVER!

Wow, time really flies... without realising it, I've been in a new working environment for the last one week, and furthermore, CNY is finally over... over with the "Annual Family Gatherings" throughout almost every night of last week with the "bald threatening game", hint! hint!

Today, its back to work, back to serious stuffs, back to the real world.

This new place I am in, looks good and prospective from almost every angle but then again, I always call this the "BMW syndrome". ???, well, if you are an owner of a BMW, you will never say BMW is no good, right? No matter if you are having second thoughts about it or not - well, that's the BMW syndrome. After leaving from another place, and taken a new job, you definitely won't hear me say anything negative about my new place...

Well, to be real... it does have its potential - deals are big here, mostly 6 digits and above and generally more than 50% of pipelines are normally 7 digits! That's what we call life in the fast lane. People here are generally "normal". Not as fun as the people I have known before but then again, its probably because we are still new to each other.

Been missing some people even though its only a week, sob sob... well, life goes on and I guess we all have to learn that. Today I will end it short by putting in a poem, thinking and writing it adhoc beginning now...

Life is like a never ending journey
Which brings us all into the unknown
Not knowing where it leads, its never easy
Especially if you have to face it all alone

Some people looks at the dark clouds and worry
Whether the storm will bring great calamities
While some will look forward to the sun coming out
Working with the rain to make a rainbow across the clouds

Whether you're a storm watcher or a rainbow hoper
Having someone by your side is always better
Cause whether its the rainbow or the stormy weather
Having a friend beside you, you're always stronger

So again, make friends your top priority today
And never in any circumstances, their friendship betray
Cause you'll never know that one particular fine day
You'll need a companion to walk this life's never ending way

Have a good week to all of you... my friends!
